Thank you for giving us the opportunity to introduce our company. SAM WOO (S.E.A.) was set up by Mr. Manjit Singh Sandhu in January 2001 with a joint collaboration with SAM WOO (Korea) to promote and market ground Anchors. Unfortunately, the construction industry then was a little soft and the demand for the product was not much. By 2003, Mr. Sandhu with the consent of his Korean partners closed the product sale and took over the company. Prior to this Mr. Sandhu was the Managing Director of Davey Constructors Pte Ltd from its inception back in June 1995.

He had grown Davey Constructors from a small ten employees set up to 800 men workforce within a year and a half. It was awarded the SME 500 award back in 1999 and since then has been the recipient up to 2003. He has since August 2004 relinquished his shares in the company to the existing shareholders and is now fully committed at managing and growing SAM WOO (S.E.A.) Pte Ltd.

We were very fortunate to be given the opportunity to work with companies like McConnell Dowell (SEA) and Punj-Lloyd Singapore Pte. Ltd. within six months of operations. The Project we undertook was the Crystal Project and Horizon Project respectively at Jurong Island.

At present, we are working closely with companies that are involved with civil and petrochemical projects in Singapore. To meet the needs of the process industry, we had registered our Company with ASPRI in 2005. In anticipation of the expansion in the Marine Industry, we have registered one of our companies in this sector and are presently in the process of negotiating jobs with prospective clients. Our services vary based on our clients’ needs, which are briefly indicated in the proposal. Attached is a list of our past and present projects undertaken by our companies collectively. To date we have achieved Bizsafe Level 3, which is in line with WHS requirements.

We have been involved in various civil and MRT projects over the years. This includes the North East Line, Circle Line and presently the Downtown Line and the Marina Coastal Expressway. The list of projects and the contractors we were involved with are provided on the attached list.

We are able to provide our prospective customers the same quality of efficient service that many of our existing clients are being provided with. Attached are some of our prominent clients for your perusal.
